When the Lisbon sky decides to trade sun for showers on a day that can’t be moved, Estufa Fria is the ultimate rescue mission. Located in Parque Eduardo VII, this “cold greenhouse” is a lush, leafy sanctuary that turns a rainy afternoon into a cinematic jungle shoot. It’s the perfect semi-covered choice for a nature-style shoot right in the middle of Lisbon’s concrete jungle.

Andrea and Fred were staying just around the corner, and despite the “small showers” forecast, we leaned into the vibe. I’ve shot here many times, but this day pushed me out of my comfort zone. I found myself playing with reflections in the glass and the bathroom windows—crazy, right? Shooting from inside and outside, I used those layers to find a perspective I’d never seen before. Oh, and that shot of Fred channeling his inner “Singing in the Rain” with his umbrella? Pure magic.
