Solar de Pancas is a historic 15th-century estate that is simply breathtaking. Filipa and Ricardo’s day started with a classic wedding “emergency”—the groom realized his suit trousers were back at home! But that’s the beauty of this place; there’s a sense of calm that settles everything.

The gardens here are iconic. During the hot ceremony, I was “bunny hopping” around to catch every angle of the flower-adorned architecture. We utilized the famous white sofas for a few quiet, simple portraits before the party kicked off. For the dancing, I cranked the ISO to keep the ambient glow of the venue alive. It’s a place that feels like a dream, trousers or no trousers.
