No clichés. No scripts. No performance.
Just presence, curiosity, and a story worth telling.
I started in video — music videos, documentaries, visual stories built on rhythm, light, and emotion.
Somewhere along that path, weddings found me. Or maybe I finally slowed down enough to notice them.
Here was everything I loved about cinema — movement, timing, emotion — but without actors or scripts. No retakes. No control. Just real people, living one of the most meaningful days of their lives.
That was the moment it clicked: this is what I’m meant to document.
Make Me Feel was born from that realization — not as a brand, but as a promise.
A promise to stay honest. To notice what’s often missed. To create work that doesn’t just look beautiful, but feels true.
After more than a decade and over 300 weddings, that purpose hasn’t changed: to document what it felt like — not just what it looked like.
No trends. No emptiness. Only feeling.
Feeling first. Always.
Weddings are built from small, fleeting moments — the nervous breath before the ceremony, the squeeze of a hand, the laugh that breaks the tension.
Light, composition, color — they matter. They’re tools. But emotion is the language.
My work is documentary at heart and deeply emotional by nature. I photograph people, not poses. I film connection, not spectacle.
The goal is simple: when you look back, you don’t just remember what happened — you feel it again.
14 years. Hundreds of stories. One constant: feeling.
“I photograph people, not poses.”
Why the name? Because that’s what it’s all about.
Weddings are made of smiles, hugs, tears, nerves, laughter, and shivers — small moments that move through you before you even notice.
The light, the framing, the color — they’re tools.
But feeling? That’s everything.
My work is honest, documentary, and deeply emotional. I photograph people, not poses. I want you to look back and feel your day again — the warmth, the quiet, the wild, the tender. This is my story as a Documentary Wedding Photographer Portugal.
My style is rooted in honest storytelling and cinematic observation.
Having started my career in film and music videos, I treat every wedding like a living documentary.
I don’t believe in ‘posed perfection’ or stiff checklists. Instead, I focus on the ‘space between words’—the quiet glances, the nervous energy, and the unscripted joy.
As a documentary wedding photographer in Portugal, my goal is to create a visual legacy that feels exactly like the day itself: raw, intentional, and deeply human.
While I am a Lisbon-based wedding photographer, my work takes me all across this beautiful country.
I specialize in documenting destination weddings in Sintra, intimate ceremonies along in Alenquer, and grand celebrations in the Alentejo vineyards. Whether you are planning an elopement in Porto or a summer wedding in the Algarve, I am available for travel throughout Portugal and worldwide to tell your story in the most authentic light possible.
To stay ‘invisible’ and maintain a true documentary approach, I choose my tools with intention. I am a dedicated Fujifilm wedding photographer, utilizing the X-Series system (like the Fuji X-H2s) for its legendary color science and silent operation. These compact, mirrorless cameras allow me to move freely and discreetly, capturing low-light indoor ceremonies and bright outdoor receptions without the intrusion of bulky gear.
No directing. No rushing. No interruptions.
Quiet presence. Calm energy. Trust.
I’m not the loudest person in the room — and that’s intentional.
I move quietly, observing, waiting for moments to unfold. I don’t interrupt hugs or pull you away from conversations. I won’t ask you to repeat something that already happened.
My editing is minimal and intentional. My approach is calm. Couples often tell me they forgot I was there — until they see their photos and film and realize nothing was missed.
That’s exactly how I want it to feel: invisible, but fully present.

No choreography. No pretending. No pressure to perform.
Connection over show. Meaning over tradition.
I work best with couples who do things their own way — those who value presence more than perfection.
If you’re camera-shy, if big productions drain you, if you care more about how your wedding feels than how it looks online — we’ll get along very well.
Every wedding I photograph is built on trust.
You live the moments. I make them last.
No personas. No exaggeration. Just who I am.
No content. No noise. No rush to impress.
Something quieter. Something lasting.
I’m not here to create content for today.
I’m here to create something that still matters years from now — something that brings you back to how it felt to be there.
That’s what Make Me Feel stands for.
